The original name of this village is Konaipally, which is located near Thimmaipally. In the ancient and the medieval era, Thimmaipally was ruled by Muslim nawabs and the Nizams of Hyderabad. Before independence, this village was ruled by the colonial government of British era and the feudal lords of Nizams. Many Razakars attacked the village in the period of Nizam rule. The people of this village came from different places to settle here till past 100 years.
