The two energies can be spiritual and materialistic; or any two force. A will, knowledge and right means are required to blend the opposite forces in our life. The red wings are symbolic of the fiery desires of the spirit to learn on a higher level of consciousness and the mountains in the background represent wisdom. The triangle is the higher knowledge that is acquired through introspection as the will to learn and understand. The cups in Temperance`s hands are the functional equivalent of scales.
This card indicates harmony/ union/ balance / health/ healing / synthesis and security. This card tells the Querent that they CAN and should put thesis and anti-thesis together to get the even more useful synthesis. But it will take time, care, patience, experimentation and also, moderation.
