Location of Suraram
Suraram is located near Jeedimetla. Jeedimetla of Ranga Reddy District is under the administration of GHMC Hyderabad. It is located under Quthbullapur municipality. Jeedimetla is a suburb of Hyderabad, located north-west of the city of Telangana and into the precincts of what is called as the twin city of the later, Secunderabad. Jeedimetla Industrial Area got its name from the concentration of heavy industries. The downtown features a number of small and large industrial units including some of the India card-carrying ones. The industrial area of Jeedimetla is alienated into diminutive localities featuring different manufacturing blocks. HMT Colony is one good instance that illustrates the description of the place. The important industries located in the region are those of machine tools, pharmaceuticals, electrics, textiles and chemicals.

Suraram is the village that includes the beautiful Hindu temples of ancient times like Katta Maisamma temple, Saibaba temple, Lord Shiva or Mahadeva Temple and Veera Bramhendra Swami temple. People from various parts of the world come and visit these temples to offer prayer to the residing deities. Especially Katta Maisamma temple is very famous temple in this region. The local people believe this as very effective place to reside this deity. Around 30 feet long Lord Shiva and Lord Hanuman statues are residing in this temple.

Rastriya Swayam Sevak Sangh organizes Dasara Utsava every year on the eve of Dasara. Sri Rama Navami is celebrated very well at Sri Panchamuka Hanuman Temple. This is one of the biggest events happening at Suraram of Ranga Reddy District. The people from all near villages attend this fest.
