Samosa RollSamosa Roll is one of the popular snacks in India which is filled up with potatoes and other ingredients. It can be served as an evening snack accompanied with green chutney and tea.

Ingredients of Samosa Roll

•2 cups - all purpose flour (Maida)
•1/3 cups - semolina (suji) optional
•1 cup - vegetable oil
•4 - Potatoes, boiled
•1 tsp - whole coriander seeds
•1 tsp - red chilli powder
•1 tsp - garam masala
•1 1/2 tbs - coriander powder
•1 tbs - amchur
Salt to taste

Preparation of Filling Mixture for Samosa Roll

•Boil potatoes in microwave or in pressure cooker.
•Mash potatoes with potato masher or shred it.
•Add red chilli powder, salt, garam masala, coriander powder, amchur powder.
•Mix it properly.

Preparation of Samosa Roll

•Sieve all purpose flour, add salt.
•Add vegetable oil and mix it very well.
•Then add small quantity of water and make smooth dough.
•Make small round rolls with dough.
•Roll it like chapati (chapati should be around 8-10 inches in diameter and make it thin).
•Put a thin layer of mashed potato mixture on it.
•Roll it to have a chapati cylinder.
•Cut cylinder by sharp knife into small rolls.
•So now the rolls have become alternately layered with potato and Maida.
•Put oil in heavy pan and fry these rolls in it until they become golden brown in colour.
•Serve it hot with green chutney and tea.
