Routrapur

Routrapur is a village in the Cuttack district of Odisha. It is situated on the banks of River Kathajodi. This place is known to be the birthplace of the legendary Odia singer Sikandar Alam, formerly known as Salabega of Modern Odisha. As per 2009 stats, Routrapur village is also a gram panchayat.

The Routrapur village is located 38 km towards west from the district head quarters Cuttack and is 32 km from the capital Bhubaneswar. This place is in the border of the Cuttack District and Khordha District of Odisha.
