Cricket Career of Manoj Prabhakar
This classy bowler had also the prowess to serve not only as a lower-order batsman, but also sometimes as an opening batsman, aptly fortifying his team. In 1992-93, Manoj Prabhakar established his place strong for India in the series against England. He had bowled the renowned Kepler Wessels for nought in successive Tests. These two ducks were the only ducks that the Wessels of South Africa had procured throughout their career, be it in Test or One-Day International.

India had emerged victorious in merely one Test out of the first 23 Tests, and later 10 among the 16 Tests, that he played.

Despair overtook him, when he was criticized on his home field at Delhi for his poor performance. He gave though, mistakenly, 4-0-47-0 in the 1995-96 World Cup. Prabhakar was excluded for the next match and ultimately he retired.
