Management of Billiards in India is being done by Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI) and several other state associations and sports clubs.

In India, the game of Billiards is also managed by a large number of associations spread all over the country. The national governing body for Billiards in India is the Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI) and it is assisted by many state level associations. The BSFI and other associations work to develop the overall condition of the game throughout the country.

The apex body for billiards in India is the Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI) started its journey in Calcutta (Kolkata) in the year 1926. M. M. Begg was one of the pioneers involved in establishing the BSFI. Since its inception, the BSFI has taken a lot of initiatives to improve the condition of Billiards in India. It has conducted various training programmes throughout the country, organised different tournaments at both the state and national levels. The BSFI has also roped in veteran billiards players like Michael Ferreira and Geet Sethi for advising it on the organization of national championships and the betterment of the sport in the country. The Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI) has earned recognition and accreditation from various international bodies as well. BSFI is presently accredited to national and international governing associations.

Apart from the BSFI, several state level billiards associations in India are involved in promoting the game. The state associations mainly focus on spreading the game in their respective states and discovering new talents at the grass roots level. They also conduct various training programmes and tournaments at the state level. They also assist the BSFI in their tournaments. Some of the major State Billiards associations in India include the Delhi Billiards and Snooker Association, the Andhra Pradesh Billiards & Snooker Association, the Bihar State Billiards Association, the Gujarat State Billiards Association, the Uttar Pradesh Billiards & Snooker Association and many others.

There are several billiards clubs in India that work with objectives similar to that of the BSFI and the state billiards associations. The clubs are also an integral part of the management of billiards in India and serve to increase the game`s popularity, providing billiards enthusiasts with opportunities and facilities to play the game. Some of the major Indian billiards clubs include the New Delhi YMCA Sports Club, the SAI Sports Complex, Kolkata; the Karnataka State Billiards Association.
