Magician Card

Having connections in both astrology and numerology, the Magician Card in a Tarot deck represents a strong powerful man, who is skilled, determined and resourceful and has the eloquence to communicate clearly.

Magician Card , Tarot CardPositively, the symbolic manifestation of the card is action, initiative, self-confidence, focus and ambition. Negatively, the traits are that of manipulation and greed. The magician represents the conscious mind. With focus on an idea or goal, the conscious mind sets into action of ideas and brings them forth to the material world.

The magicians hands are stretched forth, one to the sky holding a wand, and the other pointing to the ground below (calling for all powers). Above his head is the mysterious sign of the Holy Spirit, forming the infinity symbol. The table in front of him has the wand, cup, sword, and pentacle (different energy manifestations in Tarots) as the tools to make this possible. The magician has an undergarment of pure white, showing his pure wisdom and is held shut by the serpent around his waist. The outer garment is red, symbolic of desire and passion, which has no belt holding it shut so it can be removed if necessary. The flowers in the garden are symbolic representations as well. The red roses are symbolic of desires, and the white lilies represent pure thought, untainted by desire. This card is under the vibration of the number 1.

When this card appears in a tarot reading it can indicate that a manipulator is floating around. Hopefully, he is a beneficent guide, but he may not necessarily have our best interests in mind. The card can be symbolic of the querent`s ego, drive or extreme greed for power. It can also depict a powerful, charismatic personality around.
