Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Pitampura, New DelhiKeshav Mahavidyalaya, a constituent college of Delhi University, was established in 1994 with only 2 courses namely B.Sc.(Gen.) in Computer Science and B.Com.(Hons.). The college started functioning in August 1994 with two courses B.Sc.(Gen.) in Computer Science and B.Com.(Hons.). Much later, a multitude of courses namely B.Sc.(Hons.) in Electronics, B.Sc.(Gen.) in Mathematical science, Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application were incorporated. Courses like BIS, Bachelor of Information Technology were offered in the college but were discontinued later. Till date, courses like B. Sc in (Applied Physical Sciences) with Computer Sc., B.Sc.(Hons.) in Computer Science ; B.Sc.(Hons.) in Electronics; B.SC.(Gen.) Mathematical Sciences; B.Com.(Hons.); Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications are offered.The new campus of the college has been established in Pitampura at H-4-5 Zone near Sainik Vihar.

Keshav Mahavidyalaya is a foremost institute especially in the field of computer learning. Due to the initiative of the founder principal Dr. K. P. Chinda, the college within a short period, carved a niche for showing excellent results in all examinations conducted by Delhi University.

Keshav Mahavidyalaya college is taking utmost efforts and initiatives in order to make students aware about the nitty gritties of technology. 3 highly advanced computer laboratories are well stocked with various machines like LANs operating on Windows NT/2000 Server and Unix Server and many more. Amongst all the colleges of Delhi University this is the only college that has an entire networking on a Wi-Fi LAN.

For the overall development of students extracurricular activities are essential. Towards achieving that goal, Keshav Mahavidyalaya conducts numerous festivals like fresher`s welcome, annual cultural festival, computer festival , annual day and annual farewell every year. The college also houses a Computer Society (BLITZ) and Rotaract club. In collaboration with Rotaract club the college authorities organise blood donation camps on a yearly basis.
