Mohammed Asdullah
Mohammed Asdullah won the silver medal in the Men`s 77 kg category at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

Farman Basha
Farman Basha was born on 25th March in the year 1974. He is an Indian power lifter. Farman Basha represented India at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, United Kingdom. He won a bronze medal at the 2010 Asian Para Games in Guangzhou, China. However, this was later upgraded to a silver medal after Iranian Mustafa Radhi was disqualified due to doping.

Vicky Batta
Indian Male WeightlifterVicky Batta is an Indian weightlifter. He won the silver medal in the men`s 56 kg class at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. He failed a drug test in 2007. He subsequently failed another drug test in 2009 and received a life ban.

Sukhen Dey
Sukhen Dey won the gold medal in the men`s 56 kg weight class at the 2014 Commonwealth Games at Glasgow, Scotland. He previously won silver medal in 2010 Commonwealth Games at Delhi. Sukhen Dey left behind Malaysia`s Mohd Pisol Zulheimi with the Silver medal and Ganesh Mali with Bronze medal.

Satheesha Rai
Indian Male WeightlifterSatheesha Rai won a gold medal and two silver medals in the 1998 Commonwealth Games. He also won two gold medals and a bronze medal in 2002 Commonwealth Games but the medal he won in 2002 was stripped because he tested positive for intaking a banned substance.

Dandamudi Rajagopal Rao
Dandamudi Rajagopal Rao was born on 14th October in the year 1916. He was a famous sports person of India. He was born in Gandigunta village in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh in a family of farmers. Impressed by the performance of Kodi Rammurthy Naidu, he took up the line of weightlifting. Sistla Somayajulu trained him in weightlifting for some time. Later he traveled with Kolli Rangadasu and gave many performances in different Indian states and countries. He died on 6th August in the year 1981.

Valluri Srinivasa Rao
Valluri Srinivasa Rao was born on 20th October in the year 1981. He is an Indian weightlifter from Andhra Pradesh. He works in the Corps of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering of the Indian Army.

S.G.Sethuraman
Indian Male WeightlifterS.G.Sethuraman was a famous sports person of India. He was born in Mayiladuthurai in a family of farmers where he had timber shop (Maravadi) and adjacent to the shop he established free gymnasia to coach youngsters namely Jeya Maruthi Gym. His father Gurusamy Padayachi was also a six-pack person. Like every other teenagers he want to shape up his body, he joined gym and was so interested, he took up the line of weightlifting. The Guru Mr. Appathurai instructor from Thiruvarur in weightlifting for some time trained S.G.Sethuraman. He was encouraged by his brother Kalimuthu. Later he traveled by himself and gave many performances in different Indian states and countries.

Rustam Sarang
Rustam Sarang is an Indian weightlifter who placed seventh in the Men`s 62 kg weight class at the 2014 Commonwealth Games at Glasgow.

Vikas Thakur
Vikas Thakur is an Indian weightlifter, who won silver in the men`s 85 kg weight class at the 2014 Commonwealth Games at Glasgow, Scotland.
