Ngangbam Soniya Chanu
Ngangbam Soniya Chanu was born on 15th February in the year 1980. She is an Indian Woman Weightlifter. She won the silver medal in the Women`s 48 kg category at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Sanamacha Thingbaijani Chanu
Sanamacha Thingbaijani Chanu is an Indian weightlifter who competed in the women`s 53 kg weight class at the 2004 Summer Olympics. She originally finished fourth, but tested positive for a banned substance and was disqualified. She had also won three golds at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester and was a part of the core team for the 2010 Commonwealth Games at New Delhi, during the trials for which, she was tested positive for methylhexanamine; a stimulant commonly used as a nasal decongestant. Yumnam Renu Bala Chanu
Yumnam Renu Bala Chanu was born on 2nd October 1986. She is an Indian Woman Weightlifter. She won the gold medal in the Women`s 58 kg category at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Yumnam Renu Bala Chanu defended her gold medal again at the 2010 Commonwealth Games at Delhi. The 24-year-old Guwahati-based Northeast Frontier Railway employee, Yumnam Renu Bala Chanu set a new Games snatch record with a lift of 90 kg in her final attempt. Yumnam Renu Bala Chanu added 107 kg to her snatch record to total 197 to win the gold medal for the second successive time

Laishram Monika Devi
Indian Female WeightliftersLaishram Monika Devi is an Indian weightlifter from Manipur who won the silver medal in the Women`s 69 kg category at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Monika was originally part of the Indian squad for the 2008 Summer Olympics in women`s 68 kg category, but was dropped after the Weighlifting Federation stated that she was tested positive in a dope test, but the Prime Minister`s Office overruled this decision. But because the final list of participants had already been submitted to the Olympics officials, Monika could not take part in the Games.
