Dawson Fernandes is a national level Indian Football Player who played for Salgaocar Football Team (Salgaocar S.C.). He is an Indian footballer who came into the limelight of Indian national football scenario at a very young age.

Dawson Fernandes was born on 27th July in the year 1990 in Navelim region of Goa. He is an Indian footballer who plays as a Striker for Salgacar Football Team in the I-League.
Career of Dawson Fernandes
Dawson Fernandes started his football career while he was in school level football team. Gradually, Dawson Fernandes went on to play for Goa U-16 Football Team in the prestigious Subroto Cup. It was then that Dawson Fernandes realised that he could continue playing football at the highest level or national level and international level also. During his schooling days, his parents had no clue about his playing football, as he knew that they would never encourage him to continue. It was only when he wanted to play for the state team of Goa and next for Fransa-Pax Football Club that his parents came to know about it. To his fortune, they let him play for the state team of Goa, and since then there has been no looking back.

Dawson Fernandes represented Salgaocar Youth Team through various championships, eventually representing his state at the U-19 national championship. Then he became the captain for the U-21 Goa side for the final of Dutta Trophy in 2009-2010, which his team won, thanks to a solitary goal from him, defeating hosts Haryana Football team.

After spending three seasons at Salgaocar Football team in the I-League, Dawson Fernandes signed for Sporting Club Goa also in the I-League. Dawson Fernandes made his debut for the club on 22nd December 2011 against Dempo Sports Club and he also scored in the match as Sporting Clube de Goa lost 2-3. Dawson Fernandes then scored his second goal for the club on 1st February 2012 against Pune Football Club in the 91st minute in a match that ended with Sporting Club Goa winning 4-2. In the next game against Chirag United Football Club, Dawson Fernandes scored a double as Sporting came out 3-0 winners. Dawson Fernandes then scored another double on the last game of the season against HAL on 5th May 2012.
