Darshan Singh is an Indian Hockey player who has represented his native country India at the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo.

He participated at the 1964 Olympics held at Tokyo as a member of the Indian national field hockey team. India won the gold medal at the Olympics.

Early Life of Darshan Singh
Darshan Singh is a former field hockey player from India, who was born on 15th April in 1938 at the village Sansarpur in Punjab. He was employed as a police officer with Punjab police in 1958.

Career of Darshan Singh
In the national championships, Darshan Singh represented the state team. In 1959, he played in east Africa along with the I.H.F. team. He played for the President`s team in 1961 as well. Again in 1961, He played for India in the international hockey tournament in Ahemdabad. He also represented the nation at the Jakarta games in 1962 and the Lyons International Hockey Tournament, 1963.Darshan Singh played for India at the Tokyo Olympic Games at Tokyo in 1964. The Indian won the Gold Medal that year.

Presently, he is living at Telford, United Kingdom, to where he has shifted base since 1966.
