Ashok Menaria is a left-handed batsman and slow left arm orthodox bowler who plays for Rajasthan. He was born on 29th October 1990. Ashok Menaria played for the Rajasthan Royals, one of the franchises of Indian Premier League from 2011 to 2013.
Sports Career of Ashok Menaria
Ashok Menaria began his competitive cricketing career playing for Rajasthan Under-15s, in their winless 2005-2006 Polly Umrigar Trophy run.
In the following season, Ashok Menaria represented the Under-17s team for Rajasthan Cricket team and, in a game against Karnakata Under-17s.
He scored the second-highest innings total in the 2006-2007 Vijay Merchant Trophy - starring alongside Ankit Lamba in an unbeaten partnership of 397 - himself contributing 227 of these runs.
The following four appearances in Rajasthan Under-19s` 2008-09 Vinoo Mankad Trophy campaign, Ashok Menaria made his first-class debut against Mumbai Cricket Team in domestic arena in November 2008.
Ashok Menaria captained India`s 15-man squad for the 2010 Under-19 Cricket World Cup with great determination and the success follows him.
