Self Leg Massage, AromatherapySelf leg massage is one of the best ways to relive tension from the legs. It is an important part of Aromatherapy. People often forget that legs and feet are the important parts who are responsible for bearing the weight of the entire body. Hence, it is very important to pamper them on a regular basis. This is especially important for those who are involved in jobs that require a lot of standing or walking. Massaging the legs will not only help them to be stronger but also help people to work properly for a longer period of time. If this fact is not given importance then gradually over a period of time, the muscles will become weaker leading to poor performance in work as well as life. It is not essential that one has to depend on the parlours for the massage; it can be done by own as well. The process is quite easy and following are some of the steps of self leg massage.

Steps of Self Leg Massage

•Sit on the floor with the legs outstretched. Bend the right leg at the knee.
•Effleurage the front, then back of the lower leg several times.
•Friction rub briskly up and down all over the front and back of the lower leg.
•Work on the knee as in the step-by-step massage.
•Lower the leg, then effleurage the thigh.
•Quickly rake up the thigh with the fingertips, using both hands. This increases the circulation.
•Squeeze and release along the inner thigh, then the outer thigh.
•Do diagonal stroking as in the step-by-step massage.
•Finish with effleurage. Repeat on the other leg.
