However, one can get rid of such problems with the help of self massage. Self massage is very refreshing for the entire body. It can counteract the imbalance caused from sitting for a long period. The massage can be done by using any oil, lotion or aromatherapy oil.

Steps of Self Chest Massage

•Lie down on a comfortable mattress and massage up from between the ribs across to the shoulders.
•Then gently press along the collarbone with the help of fingertips.
•Now, stroke down between the breasts and out to the sides across the rib-cage.
•The steps can be repeated for several times.

Steps of Self Neck Massage

•By lying down, massage across the upper chest and across and round the shoulders.
•Turn the head to one side and work up the neck with cupped hand. Repeat several times on both sides.
•Work up between the shoulder blades to the base of skull. Repeat several times.

Steps of Self Back Massage

•Reach around with both hands and by starting below the waist, work up as far as possible.
•If possible to reach, try thumb pressures on the spine with fingers pointing forwards.
•Pressuring the lower back and sacrum (top of buttocks) area really relieves backache.
•Alternatively, try using a wooden back massage roller or wriggle around with back against a rolling pin.
