It is located at a distance of 20 kms far from Dapoli and its village is nestled at an elevation of 10 meters. Apart from clean water and white sand, this virgin beach is known for its scenic beauty, nearby Ganpati temple, adventure sports and village festivals. The beach enjoys cool temperature throughout the year. This beach is an ideal holiday destination for the peace and nature lovers.

Set amidst picturesque location, Anjarlay Beach is surrounded by palm trees. This two kms long beach has clean water. It shelters evergreen forests of Western Ghats that mainly comprises of tropical forest. Coconuts and Alphonso mangoes are grown around the coast lines of this beach. In the vicinity of this beach lies a well known temple known as Kadyawarcha Ganpati temple. This temple is made from wooden pillars and inhabits stone staircase along with Ganesha idol. There is a pond located in front of the temple which exhibits various aquatic animals like turtles and big fish. The beach enjoys pleasant serene atmosphere throughout the year. However when it receives heavy amount of rainfall, it faces high humidity. Hence, it is advisable to check the temperature and climatic conditions before planning a trip for Anjarlay beach.

Other attractions are the wide array of village festivals that are celebrated with great pomp and grandeur. Some of the festivals are Holi, Jatra and Ganpati festival. During Holi, a game known as Kathkail is played with great enthusiasm. Jatra too is organized with great glory at Durga temple.

Apart from all these, tourists can lay their hands on numerous lip smacking food items such as pickles, watermelons, Alphonso mangoes, cashew nuts, jackfruit chips and kokam sarbat.

Connectivity to Anjarlay Beach
The beach is well connected via railway and roadway. The nearest railway station is located in Kolad. One can easily reach this beach as it is joined with its closest town Dapoli. From the town tourists can avail services like bus, taxi, private jeep and auto rickshaw. Tourists can also avail state transport bus services from Dapoli which run after every 30 to 40 minutes.
