Al-Ameen Dental College, Bijapur, KarnatakaThe Al-Ameen Dental College (AADC) is a top class medical institution situated in Bijapur, Karnataka. The college was established in 1992 and is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi Health University, Bangalore and the Karnataka University, Dharwad. The college has got recognition from the Dental Council of India (DCI). The college admits 40 students every year and is functioning as one of the premier medical institution in the state. There is a Dental Hospital situated within the premises of the Al-Ameen Dental College (AADC), Bijapur and another new Dental Hospital is under construction.

The Al-Ameen Dental College (AADC), Bijapur offers a number of courses in various branches of medical science at the undergraduate level. The students are admitted in the BDS course of the college after going through a written entrance examination. The students have to attend a viva test also and then, the college makes a merit list by adding the marks of XII Std obtained in PCB and the marks of the written test and the marks of the viva. The BDS course of the college has been recognised by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and Dental Council of India (DCI).

Apart from offering courses in the Al-Ameen Dental College (AADC), Bijapur, the Dental Hospital boasts of excellent infrastructure with all the modern hi-tech equipments. The DCI has recently approved Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department as a Post Graduate Department with the intake of two MDS seats per year. The Al-Ameen Dental College and Al-Ameen Dental College Hospital at Bijapur is actually an institution established by the Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust (ACFT), Bangalore. The college was established for catering the needs of religious minority community with forty students` admission. The college is having excellent track record with good academic results since its inception.
