He has participated for the Clubs MCA President`s XI, Mumbai, the Mumbai team, and above all for Team India. Aavishkar Salvi`s style of bowling is very much akin to that of Glenn McGrath of Australia. This junior McGrath does possess the calibre, to play on pretty puzzling bounces from a specific length, apt for creating the best bouncers. His pattern of classy seam bowling, along the lines of the Aussie bowling sensation Glenn McGrath, ensured his entry into the national team.
