Lazarus Barla, Indian Hockey Player
Lazarus Barla was born on November 4, 1979 in Savnamara, near Sundargarh District, Orissa. He is a field hockey player, plays in the defence position from India. Lazarus Barla belongs to the Oraon tribe of Chotanagpur region. In January 1998, he has made his international senior debut for the Men's National Team.
With striking 4-3, defender Lazarus Barla has made a magnificent hat trick by fashioned IHF Seniors' comeback victory over Air-India in the Pool. It was during a league of the 77th MCC-Murugappa Gold Cup Hockey Tournament, which was held at Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium.
