Ethapur is a panchayat town situated in Salem district of the southern state of India, Tamil Nadu. Valappadi and Peddanayakkanpalayam are situated at a distance of 9 km. and 4 km. respectively. Tumbal and Malliyakarai are the other nearby towns. Salem is located at a distance of 35 km in the west of Ethapur. The Ethapur Road Railway Station on the Salem-Virudhachalam rail route is the nearest railway station. The other major access points are Salem Town Railway Station and the Salem Airport.
