Dirba is a town and a nagar panchayat in Sangrur district of the northern state of India, Punjab. It is located between 30.07° North latitude and 75.98° East longitude and at a height of 236 metres (774 feet) above mean sea level.
According to the 2001 census report, Dirba had a population of 13,073. Males constitute 54% of the population and females constitute 46% of the population. In Dirba , 13% of the population is less than six years of age. Dirba has an average literacy rate of 50%, which is lower than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 54% and, the female literacy is 46%.
