Baburao Narasappa, popularly known as "Baboo" Nimal, was an Indian field Hockey personality. He competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics and won the Gold medal.

Baburao Narasappa, "Baboo" Nimal was born 15th March in the year 1908. He was a soaring Indian field hockey personality who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics which held at Berlin.
He participated as a member in the Indian national hockey team that won the gold medal. He played thrice including the final matches as back-warder. Baburao Narasappa, died on February 21, 1998.
