Aashish Kaul is a talented actor of Indian television and has marked a niche for himself in the hearts of Indian TV watchers. He became popular for playing the character of Subroto in the popular Balaji soap 'Kasauti Zindagi Kay'. This brilliant actor has not ccome much to the limelight despite having played very strong roles in 'Ghutan', 'Kkusum' and 'Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii' and 'Saathiya'. He did also significant roles in another Zee Tv soap 'Piya Ka Ghar'.
In the Balaji soap 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay' Aashish Kaul essayed the role of Komolika's (played by Urvashi Dholakia) husband. His character in this soap started off with a negative shade and then turned positive for a considerable span of time but again it ended on a negative note.
In another popular soap 'Aek Chhabi Hain Pados Mein' he plays the role of a sophisticated NRI who wants to get his father back from the United States.
