Manish Kaushik is an Indian boxer who won a Silver Medal in 2018 Commonwealth Games, in the light weight division.

Manish Kaushik, Boxers in IndiaManish Kaushik is an Indian boxer who won Gold Medal at the 2017 National Boxing Games in the same weight category. He belongs from the village of Devsar in the Bhiwani district of Haryana and is employed with Indian Army as the Subedar. He was born in a Pandit family on 11th January 1996. His father, Somdutt Sharma, is a farmer, while his mother is a homemaker. Kaushik did his primary schooling in devsar and secondary schooling in Bhiwani and finally received a bachelor`s degree from Govt. College of Education, Bhiwani.

Career of Manish Kaushik
After of it Kaushik succeeded in entering the Indian Army in 2016, Manish kaushik became national Champion for the first time when he beat defending champion Shiva Thapa in 2017. In 2017, Kazakhstan International Boxing Tournament held in Kazakhstan, he won Silver Medal in his weight category. Kaushik won gold medal in his weight category in Asian Game Test Event held in Asian Game Test Event Indonesia 2018. In Doha International Boxing Tournament 2015 he won gold medal in his weight category in Doha International Boxing Tournament held in Doha, Qatar as well. He won a Silver Medal in 2018 Commonwealth Games, in the light weight division.
