Una District
Una District is one of the most fully developed districts of Himachal Pradesh. Una District shares its border with the Kangra district, Bilaspur district and Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh and Hoshiarpur district and Ropar district of Punjab.
The terrain of Una District is generally a plain with low hills. Una District has been identified as a main industrial hub and has become a transit town for travelers going to Dharamshala, Kullu, Manali, Jawalamukhi, and Chintpurni.
Bilaspur District
Bilaspur District contains the manmade Gobind Sagar Lake on the Sutlej River which acts as the reservoir for the Bhakra-Nangal Project. The road bridge on this lake at Kandraur is highest of its kind in Asia. It is the second highest bridge in Asia. Its headquarters are in the town of Bilaspur. The district has an area of 1,167 sq km, and a population of 382,056.
Hamirpur District
Hamirpur district is one of the 12 districts with the headquarters Hamirpur town. The district occupies an area of 1,118 square km. It is smallest district of Himachal Pradesh. It is also known as Martyr`s Land.
Mandi district
Mandi district is one of the central districts of Himachal Pradesh. Mandi town is the headquarters of Mandi district. The town has mythological and historical significance and boasts of unique temple architecture of Hindu religion. It is referred to as Chhota Kashi as there are many ancient temples in the city and on the banks of river Beas. The Beas River flows through the town and hills, which makes this town more scenic. It has a serene ambiance though the modern development has made its inroads here in infrastructural developments.
