Chef Mehrishi also has expertise in further blossoming food concepts with the aid of nurturing culinary festivals and campaigns. He streamlines recipes for different outlets by standardising techniques and requirements for the same.

Early Life of Gautam Mehrishi
Hailing from a family of doctors who served in the Indian army, and shifted base every few years, his family background is reflected in his calm confidence and discipline. Inspired by the food he ate, he would experiment in the kitchen late at night once the whole family was asleep. Though he came from a vegetarian family, he even cooked and ate non-vegetarian food. It was his grandfather who supported his passion and urged him to cook professionally.

Career of Gautam Mehrishi
Chef Gautam Mehrishi started his career in the hospitality industry as a management trainee at "The Taj Mahal Hotel", Mumbai. Just a decade later, he stepped into the position of "Corporate Executive Chef" at "Sun-n-Sand Hotels Pvt Ltd". He has been associated with other organizations like "The Claridges Hotel" at New Delhi, "The Galaxy" at Gurgaon and "The Chancery Pavilion" at Bengaluru where he was instrumental in the re-branding and re-positioning of the various restaurants at the hotel, introducing various food concepts which helped the hotels achieve unexpected increase in revenues. Chef Gautam Mehrishi oversees the performance and operations of Food and Beverage outlets of "Sun-n-Sand Hotels".

Gautam Mehrishi is a celebrity chef, having hosted various shows on national television which include "Naram Garam" on Sahara One, "Smart Srimati ki Rasoi" on DD1, "Kitchen Maharishi" on 9X and "Kitchen Champion" on Colors TV and the latest "Khana Khazana" on Zee TV. He has successfully completed 3 seasons with phenomenal success and viewer accreditation as "Chef Judge" on "Kitchen Champion", a reality cookery show on Colors TV channel. Presently he is back with a new television series, "Food ka Mood", where he introduces viewers to inspirational, exciting Indian food.

Achievements of Gautam Mehrishi

•Chef Gautam Mehrishi has won Bronze Medal at Indian Culinary Forum Contest in July 1998.
•He has also won Bronze Medal and Silver Medal in Culinary Art India 2000.
•He has also won gold medals at the culinary art show organised in 2001 and 2002 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
•He was selected for the Culinary Art 2001, Colombo, representing Hotel Park Royal as well as the country and won medals at the international level.
