While with Kalighat MS, Ram Malik played for the side that won the Airlines Gold Cup in 2011 against Mohammedan Sporting Club by a score of 3-2 with all three goals for Kalighat MS being assisted by Ram Malik. Malik then made his debut for Mohun Bagan Athletic Club on 28th September in the year 2013 in the league against Churchill Brothers Sporting Club at the Duler Stadium.
