Early Life of Rajib Ghorui
Rajib Ghorui is an Indian football player, who was born on 8th October in the year 1995 in Dakshineswar, West Bengal. He is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Mohun Bagan Athletic Club in the I-League Champions Trophy.

Early Career of Rajib Ghorui
Rajib Ghorui was born in Dakshineswar. He is hailing from West Bengal. Rajib started playing football at a young age when he joined Jugo Jagaran Coaching Camp where he used to practice under Ranjan Bhattacharya, one of the prominent football players in 1960s.

Later Career of Rajib Ghorui
Rajib Ghorui initially used to play as a striker. He joined the U-15 East Bengal Football Team. The team participated in the Manchester United Premier Cup. He was the highest scorer in the Indian league of the Manchester United Cup played at Chandigarh, Haryana.

Rajib Ghorui joined Mohun Bagan SAIL Football Academy in the year 2007. There he stayed for 1 year before joining BN Railways. It was in BN Railways that Rajib Ghorui was first used as a wing half. He played in both left and right half in that year.

In the year 2010, Rajib Ghorui represented the U-19 East Bengal team in B.C. Roy Trophy. In the final against Chandigarh, Rajib Ghorui gave West Bengal the lead but unfortunately the opponents equalized in the 2nd half, which took the match to penalty shootout. Though East Bengal lost 3-5 in tie-breaker, Rajib Ghorui was successful in converting his penalty.

Rajib Ghorui the Indian U-19 National Football Team
Rajib Ghorui also got selected in the Indian U-19 National Football Team in the year 2010. During the China tour, in one of the games Rajib Ghorui scored a stunning goal by a left footed direct free-kick. Rajib Ghorui once again got a call from the U-19 National Team 2 years later. He had also played in the I-League U19 for Kingfisher East Bengal Football Club.

Rajib Ghorui with Techno Aryan Football Club
Rajib Ghorui joined Techno Aryan Football Club in the year 2010 where he played for 3 seasons. Rajib Ghorui played many matches for Aryans in the I-League 2nd Division, IFA Shield as well as Calcutta Football League. One of the most memorable matches of his career was when Aryans defeated East Bengal Football Club 4-1 in Calcutta Premier Division. One of the goals that Charles scored in that game was from Rajib Ghorui"s well-measured right-footed free kick.

Rajib Ghorui first got the offer from United Sikkim Football Club in the year 2012, though he did not join the club. After Mohun Bagan officials contacted him at the start of this season and he decided to join them.

Rajib Ghorui in I League
Rajib Ghorui made his debut in the I-League on 10th October in the year 2013 against Pune Football Club at the Balewadi Sports Complex in which he came on as a substitute for C.S. Sabeeth in the 87th minute as Mohun Bagan Athletic Club lost the match 2-0.

Personal Life of Rajib Ghorui
Rajib Ghorui is a follower of Cristiano Ronaldo and Syed Nabi. He is basically a right footed player. He is confident to shoot with both feet. He supports Manchester United Football Club and England National Football Team among the International Clubs and Countries.
