Narsampet is a historical place in Telangana. Narasmpet was in Andhra Pradesh when it was in colonial times. Before Independence the administrative unit of Narsampet was officially known as Pakhal Taluka because of its proximity to the area's lifeline - the Pakhal Lake, major lake for drinking water in the region built by the Kakatiya rulers. These mandals in Narsampet are Maheswaram, Raaavaram, Muthojipeta, rajupeta, Rajapally and Chennaraopet, Khanapuram, Ashok Nagar, Duggondi mandal Girnibavi villeges.

According to the Population Census in 2011, Narsampet has the population of around 50000. Over the years the village has grown into one of the town in Warangal District of Telangana. Around 50,000 people were calculated as per census 2011 in Narsampet Municipality. Recently, the Government of Telangana declared neighbouring Dwarakapet and Sarvapuram villages to be merged into Narsampet Municipality. The town has 28 wards and 50 colonies.
Economy of Narsampet
Economy of Telangana is mainly dependant on agriculture. Narsampet's growth has received a big boost around ten years ago in the form of a large public investment to develop it as a model town which resulted in improvements in infrastructure, particularly roads, drains and water supply. The businesses in the town of Narsampet are dominated by these migrants who prospered as they moved into the town.

Chennaraopet, Duggondi, Kothaguda, Khanapuram, Guduru, Nallabelly and Nekonda mandals are the tourist attractions in this village. In the town Madhannapet Lake is very beautiful for tourism spot like Pakhal Lake. The nearby village Budharaopet at 8 km towards Khammam Sub Highway after Khanapur is a new attraction due to its serene nature of the village surrounded by three ponds and its decent infrastructure and its people who are now famous for their good education.
