Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad, TelanganaKotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, situated in the Hyderabad city of the Indian state Telangana, is an indoor sporting arena. It has the capacity to accommodate about 2000 people. It has been built specifically for indoor games such as volleyball, badminton, board games, basketball, carroms etc. In the year 2003 it served as the venue for some of the events of Afro-Asian Games. The stadium has also served many potential talents in the form of children who come to the stadium for learning roller skating and badminton.

The stadium has been named after Mr. Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy, the ninth Chief Minister of Indian state Andhra Pradesh, who served the office as CM for two terms from 20th September 1982 to 9 January 1983 and from 9 October 1992 to 12 December 1994. Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium is under the maintenance of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP), the registered government department that takes care of the sports affairs of the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium also has a training academy where various indoor games are coached and a special summer camp training for children is conducted. The stadium has wooden flooring and superior lightening system. The stadium is also available for practice since the year 2007 and has the biggest roller skating rink of Hyderabad. It is a100-metre flat track. The rink was constructed by SAAP for the skaters of Mr. Abbas Iqbal Lasania, the first National Roller Skating (Speed) Champion of Andhra Pradesh and an international coach. His students represent the country at International Skating Competitions, both roller and ice.

This skating rink is a boon for the skaters of Hyderabad and its construction has been possible with the persistent efforts of one of the student"s parent of Mr. Lasania named Mrs. Savita Reddy. In the year 2010 her daughter, Shraddha Reddy, became an Asian Roller Skating Championship medallist under the tutelage of Mr. Lasania. Within two months of the inauguration of the skating rink, the skaters from Lasania"s Roller and Ice Skating Academy proved their skills by winning two gold medals, two silver medals, and one bronze medal at the 53rd School Games Federation National Roller Skating Championship in Ahmedabad in December 2007.
