Chowara Beach is situated near Kovalam
in the south Indian state Kerala
exhibiting scintillating natural beauty. Chowara is a fishing village enclosed with exquisite landscapes. The coast of Chowara beach is dotted with a band of palm timberline which veils the fishing village and an old church. It is a long and wide beach which showcases shimmering white sand. The famed Chowara Ayyappa Temple stands atop a fort overlooking the beach and offers magnificent views. Chowara Beach is also the abode of the ancient Analothbhava Matha Church. , located at a distance of 24 kilometres from the beach, is the nearest airport. Chowara Beach also has a good connectivity of roadways and can be accessed from all the major cities of India.
