Bugganipalle is a census town situated in the Kurnool district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The exact location of the town is at
15°28'48" N and 78°12'0" E. The demographical figures of the 2001 census record a population of 11,470 in the town, inclusive of 51% males, 49% females and 12% children less than 6 years of age. Bugganipalle has an average literacy rate of 58%, lower than the nationwide standard of 59.5%; with male literacy of 70% and female literacy of 45%. The Payam cement plant is located in this town.
