Budhana is a town as well as a nagar panchayat situated in the Muzaffarnagar district in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India.
Precisely, the town, with an average elevation of 231 metres (757 feet) is positioned at 29.28° North and 77.47° East. The statistical figures of the 2001 India census record a population of 32,949 in Budhana. The town is home to 53% males, 47% females and 18% children less than 6 years of age. With a male literacy of 57% and female literacy of 40%, the mean literacy rate of the town amounts to 49%, lower than the national average of 59.5%.
