Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
Graduate Management Admission Test or GMAT is a standardised examination which is utilized as a selection criterion in several colleges and universities to assess a candidate's ability in writing, logical reasoning, reading, analysing and some other skills. This examination is necessary for the candidates who are looking forward to studying Master of Accountancy, Master of Finance and many other subjects. The four sections of GMAT consist of analytical writing assessment, integrated reasoning, quantitative and verbal section.

The entrance examination of Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test (CA CPT) is another important one, particularly for students who aspire to gain admission in the discipline of Chartered Accountancy. This exam is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
These examinations are the only two entrance examinations which must be appeared and passed by candidates seeking higher studies in Commerce.
