. The renowned Tamil poet composed a number of interesting and fascinating poetic works of religious nature. These works include Nencuvitututu, Kolaimaruttal, Avirota Untiyar, Vairakkiya Tipam and Vairakkiya Catakam.
Citampara Cuvamikal, disciple and successor of Cantalihika Cuvamikal also wrote many literary works that are rather important in Tamil literature. Among the works composed by him, the poetic work of Tirupporur Cannitimurai comprises of some mesmerizing and soul stirring devotional poems.
