The Holy Trinity Church is a renowned church in the city of Secunderabad. It is a Protestant Church that was built in the year 1846 with a donation from the Queen Victoria, on the land that was gifted by the Nizam. Queen Victoria has constructed this church with her own money for British higher officials to conduct prayers.
Frosty white spires and stained glass windows reflect the architecture of this church which makes it one of the places worth visiting while on a tour to Hyderabad. Considered to be amongst one of the most sacred churches in the Deccan region, hundreds of worshipers come to offer their prayers in this church every Sunday. Located at a very prominent place in Secunderabad, this church can be easily reached from any part of the city. Attracting a large number of devotees on a daily basis, this Protestant institution remains open daily from 7 AM to 8 PM. It took seven years for the construction of this church in the pleasant atmosphere and in an aesthetic way. Electric harmonium which was used by British officials of those days at the time of prayers is an attraction now also. This harmonium will be 25 feet long and 15 feet wide. British Queen Elizabeth has lodged in this church in 1983 tour.
