The ritual of Ankong-Tawl allows the husband, wife and the son who have passed through the stages of Tuolsuo Ritual to sit and dine together though the menu differs. It also lays down a list of items that are to be served to the husband. This includes one plate of boiled chicken which includes the entire chicken which is only for the husband. For three of the every plate shall include one gourd of 'Zu", one plate of pork, one plate of rice. The food which is enlisted in the ritual carries a lot of significance as it varies with the social status of the family member.
