Kaisar Bagh, Monuments of Lucknow
Kaisar Bagh is an impressive palace complex which was constructed by Wajid Ali Shah. He was not much interested in European style of architecture and thus the style of construction of this palace complex is mainly that of traditional Islamic style. The Safid Baradari, situated in the heart of the Kaisarbagh Complex, is one of the most secular monuments of Lucknow. Even today, it is used for the purposes of holding a number of functions such as Kavi Sammelan, receptions etc.
