The aspirants can obtain the application forms and information brochures for Maharashtra Engineering Entrance Exam (CET) from the High School or the Junior College from where the candidate has completed his education within the state. The prescribed application forms can be obtained from the Principal or Dean of the concerned school or college. The candidates must note that they need to submit the completed application form (they must fill the form in their own handwriting) before the last date of submission.
Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra Engineering Entrance Exam (CET)
The first and foremost criterion is that the applicant should be an Indian National. The minimum academic qualification is a pass in the HSC (10+2) examination under Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or any equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% score (45% for the candidates of backward class categories) for admissions in engineering course. For getting admissions in health science and Pharmacy degree programmes, a minimum of 50% score in aggregate is required in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The students who are appearing for the 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply.

This entrance test carries objective types of questions and each of them carrying four options. There is no system of negative marking in this test, so the students are advised to attempt maximum number of questions.
