Eligibility Criteria for Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) Examination
The minimum eligibility criterion is a pass in the 10+2 standard from any recognized universities in Kerala or a pass in its equivalent examination with a good aggregate of marks. The minimum age is 17 years. Candidates with a diploma certificate with a minimum of 50 percent marks can also apply for this entrance test.
For admissions in Medical/Agriculture/Veterinary courses, the applicants need to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (12th standard) or its equivalent examination with 50% marks in Biology, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in aggregate.
For getting admissions in engineering degree programmes, the candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 or any equivalent examination with 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Physics and Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology in aggregate.

Pattern of Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) Examination
The pattern of this entrance test is of objective type. It mainly comprises two different papers, the1st paper includes Physics and Chemistry and the 2nd paper includes Mathematics in case of Engineering Entrance and it includes Biology in case of Medical Entrance examinations. The questions are set on the basis of the syllabus of 10 + 2 level. Candidates applying for admissions to degree course in Architecture need to appear for National Aptitude test in Architecture (NATA) organized by the National Institute of Advanced Studies and Architecture. The medium of Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) is English language and the duration of this entrance test is two and a half hours.
