Application Forms for Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) The interested students can get the prospectus and the application form for Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) by making payment of the requisite amount. The candidates can make the payment either by cash or by making a nationalized bank demand draft drawn in favour of 'Goa Education Development Corporation'. The candidates need to submit the completed application form before the last date of submission along with three passport sized photographs. The candidates can obtain their photo admit card for the examination on the same day of the submission of the application form. Eligibility Criteria for Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) In order to appear for Goa common entrance test (GCET), the candidates need to fulfill any of the below mentioned eligibility requirements - The candidate should have passed 10+2 Examination under the Goa Board or any other equivalent examination organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE. The candidate must have obtained the minimum percentage of marks. MBBS & BDS courses - For getting admissions in MBBS and BDS degree courses, a pass certificate in Higher Secondary examination of Goa Board of secondary education or its equivalent examination with English as a mandatory subject. The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in all the core subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology. B.E courses - For the BE courses, the candidates should have passed the HSC under the Goa Board of Secondary Education or any equivalent examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. The candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. B. Pharm courses - For admissions in B. Pharm degree courses, the candidate should have passed the HSC examination of the Goa Board of Secondary or any other equivalent examination with English, Physics & Chemistry as mandatory subjects. A minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate is required. B. Arch courses - Candidate interested in taking admissions into B. Arch courses must have passed the HSC examination under the Goa Board of Secondary or any other equivalent examination with Mathematics as a core subject. The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates who are seeking admissions to Architecture degree programmes need to appear as well as obtain a valid score in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) organized by the Council of Architecture. Final year candidates are appearing at the HSSC examination or any equivalent examination are also eligible for Goa common entrance test (GCET). Moreover, the candidate should be an Indian citizen. The minimum age requirement is 17 years for admissions in Medicine and Dentistry degree courses. However, no minimum or upper age limit is specified for admissions into Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture degree courses. Courses Offered Pattern of Goa common entrance test (GCET) Goa common entrance test (GCET) examination consists of five sets of question papers that are based on the core subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Computer Science. The candidates need to appear for a complete different combination of subjects as per their preferred field of study (either in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Engineering and Architecture).
