The Bhagwan Buddha Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (BBHMC) is a well known and recognised medical institution in the state of Karnataka and it is situated in the city of Bangaluru. The college was established in the year 1996, by a voluntary organisation named Buddha Education Trust (BET) and the trust is still running and managing the institution. The institution is working with the sole objective of imparting best medical and technical education to the students of Karnataka. The institution is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangaluru.
The Bhagwan Buddha Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (BBHMC), Bangaluru mainly offers the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) Course that has duration of 4 and half years, including 1 year of internship training. The institution offers the course according to the curriculum approved by the Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH) and the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangaluru. The institute follows certain rules and regulations for admitting the students in its BHMS course.
According to the rules and regulations, the students desirous of getting admitted in BHMS course in Bhagwan Buddha Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (BBHMC), Bangaluru, are required to fulfill some criterions. The candidates are required to have passed the PUC or 10+1 or equivalent, with 50% marks in the subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates, who have passed B.Sc., (CBZ) examination with 50% marks in aggregate in PCB with Physics as one of the subjects in PUC, are also considered as eligible for admission in the course. However, the required percentage of marks comes down to 40%, in case of the candidates, belonging to the SC/ST category. The candidates are also required to be aged at least 17 years in the year of admission. The candidates coming from outside Karnataka should submit an eligibility certificate issued by the competent authority, at the time of admission. The Bhagwan Buddha Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (BBHMC), Bangaluru provides separate hostel facilities for its male and female students, as well.
