Adhiparasakthi College of Science, G.B. Nagar, Kalavai, Tamil NaduThe Adhiparasakthi College of Science is situated at G.B. Nagar, Kalavai that encircles a widespread area of nearly eight hundred acres near Arcot in the district of Vellore. Late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi laid the foundation of this college in 1988. It is affiliated to the University of Madras.

The college currently offers degrees at undergraduate level. These include-- B.Sc in Biochemistry , B.Sc - Microbiology, B.Sc.- Computer Science, Bachelor in Computer Applications. Postgraduate degree courses that are offered, include- M.Sc in Biochemistry, M.Sc in Microbiology, B.Sc. in Computer Science and also Masters in Computer Application. In the academic session 2001-2002, M.Sc in Computer Science, Post Graduate Diploma Computer Application was also commenced. In addition, research programmes like - M.Phil in Microbiology and Biochemistry also are offered to the students.

There are several facilities given to the students of Adhiparasakthi College of Science. A team of qualified faculty members has been allotted so that they can help the students improve their academic skills. Students are rightly provided with adequate laboratory facilities and also a well-stocked library catering to the needs of both students and teachers. Hostels are provided both for female and male students separately. Apart from studies, special attention is given on inculcating the habit of playing games and athletics.
