Established in 1998, Sriram College of Arts and Science is affiliated to Madras University and has also received approval from the Tamil Nadu Government. It offers various courses in undergraduate level like, Bachelor of Computer Applications, B.Sc-Computer Science, B.Sc.-Biochemistry, B.Com, Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A), Bachelor of Electronics Science ( B.E.S.), B.Sc.-Hotel & Catering Management , B.Sc.-Visual Communication, B.Sc.-Tourism & Travel Management, B.Sc.-Clinical Nutrition & Dietics, B.Sc.-Information System & Management.

The postgraduate courses include- Master of Computer Application (M.C.A.), M.Sc.-Hotel & Catering Management, M.Sc.-Information Technology, M.Sc.-Computer Science & Technology and also Master of Commerce (M.Com). Sriram College of Arts and Science has been earmarked for its excellent infrastructural facilities.

There is a computer centre fully air-conditioned, and houses nearly one hundred and thirty computers with necessary accessories. The Sriram College of Arts and Science Library also is well equipped, that rightly fulfills the requirements of students both at post graduate and undergraduate levels. Besides, the library also subscribes to all the current journals and magazines of varied disciplines, so that students can stay updated about the daily happenings on related subjects. Other facilities like basics of computer learning, spoken English and practical reporting also are granted to the students.

The faculty members assist the placement cell of Sriram College of Arts and Science, so that final year students can be groomed properly for forthcoming interviews. Besides the cell invites a handful of potential employers to place the students in their esteemed companies. The college is located at Perumalpattu - 602 024, Tiruvallur District, Tamil Nadu.
