The Padma Bhushan Award is always considered as one of the most prestigious and honourable civilian awards in India. The award is presented by the Government of India on a regular basis since the year 1954. It is presented to those, who have made significant contributions to their respective fields. The Government of India actually recognises their extraordinary talents and appreciates their achievements through this award. The people from India and also from abroad receive this award. 32 people won the Padma Bhushan Award in the year 2003 and all of them are considered as jewels in their respective fields.
