In Aromatherapy, massage plays a significant role. It says that regular massage reduces stress, pain and muscle tension from the concerned area. According to Aromatherapy, massage is good for everyone but it is especially good for those who are involved in desk jobs. In these kinds of works, they are required to sit continuously for long hours. This causes stiffness in neck and invites problems in the back. However, one can get rid of such problems with the help of self massage. Self massage is very refreshing for the entire body. It can counteract the imbalance caused from sitting for a long period. The massage can be done by using any oil, lotion or aromatherapy oil.

Now, stroke down between the breasts and out to the sides across the rib-cage.
The steps can be repeated for several times.

By lying down, massage across the upper chest and across and round the shoulders.
