The Chariot card is 7th in the series of the Major Arcana. The chariot driver controls the chariot with no reins or other harnesses; he uses his will to control the functions and direction of the positive and negative forces representing the white and black sphinxes. This card is symbolic of the soul and the physical shell. The square on his breastplate is symbolic of order and control over the material world. This card falls under the vibration of the number 7. It represents energy/ movement/ victory/ honor/ achievement/ wealth / command/ willpower/ assertion/ self-confidence.
Characterised as that of a conquest, it represents a battle that can be won if the Querent has a strong conviction in his cause and sufficient will power for it. It evokes the Querent's own path; calling; exile; or random journey. The trick is not just to fight with force, but also to give proper direction to force for due success. Hence the card may warn that proper understanding of the powers in play is required to win the battle, be it obstacle or some conflict.
