Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University was named after the famous social reformer Swami Ramanand Teerth. The University has a sprawling campus of 600 acres.
The campus contains, Administrative Building, Vice Chancellor's Residence, Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel, Officers' Quarters, VVIP Guest House and Guest House. The University caters higher education in the districts of Nanded, Latur, Parbhani and Hingoli. It has been recognised by the University Grant Commission.
