 Jadugora is a census town situated in the Purbi Singhbhum district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. It is located on the Hata- Musabani road and is nearly 40 km from Jamshedpur. It is one of the important locations for mines and is easily accessible from Jamshedpur.
The 2001 India census report, Jadugora had a population of 19,003. Males and females account for 53% and 47% of the population. In Jadugora, 12% of the population is less than six years of age. The census report also throws light on the literacy rate of the town. Jadugora has an average literacy rate of 72%, which is higher than the national average literacy rate, which is 59.5%.
